The members, family and friends of Bishop George O. Adebanjo and Dr. Jennifer Adebanjo will gather to celebrate 27 years of service to The Living Word International Church of God In Christ on July 28.

As leaders in this community, both Bishop Adebanjo and his wife Jennifer have been involved in various community development programs, such as youth intervention programs, HIV/AIDs education, GED prep programs and a host of other community activities over the years.    Internationally, they are also involved in Community Development in both Asia and Africa in the form of educational and health awareness programs.

In recognition of 27 years of service, the pastoral anniversary committee of the TLWI has scheduled several events leading to the worship service of on July 28.

“Among our many guests, we are expecting leaders from the corporate/business, governmental and religious communities,” said organizers. “As in the past, the success of these events has largely been due to the contributions of our sponsors who have gone out of their way to lend financial support to underwrite the celebration.”

Those needs have been met through corporate sponsorships. By becoming a corporate sponsor for this cause, sponsors assist in strengthening the local, national, and international programs of Drs. George and Jennifer Adebanjo. Sponsors gaining exposure from the audience are highlighted in all announcements to members in all printed marketing and promotional materials.

The Living Word International Church has made great accomplishments through many community efforts and developed a number of programs under the leadership of the Adebanjos.  Some of these efforts include:

·   A local food bank to aid the needy

·   Grade school tutoring

·   HIV education and awareness services

·   Youth Intervention Programs

·   Singles Empowerment Programs
