God created us in His image. Do you see that image when looking in the mirror? Do you see the characteristics of Jesus Christ in you? “The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works. The Lord is near unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desires of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love Him: but all the wicked will He destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless His Holy name forever and ever,” Psalm 145:17-21.

If you ask what is Grace, the answer you will get is an unmerited favor from God, but let me suggest you read Psalm 145:17-21 daily until you get a revelation from the Lord. God puts emphasis that His common Grace is for all of humanity and should teach us that God’s love extends even to His enemies. This love is manifested in blessings God bestows on all indiscriminately. The Psalmist makes a distinction for those who call on God in truth. He will save them that love him and destroy the wicked. If we do not want the wrath of God to fall upon us, we must change our standards. The Bible must be our standard for what’s right and wrong. Many Christians today are following the doctorates of society not realizing they are living in sin. Those who call themselves children of God should bear the indelible stamp of His moral character, loving gracious and generous even to those who are his enemies.

My weekly prayer is that the reader of this commentary becomes inspired of God.
