Aid & Assist At Home, LLC, a premier provider of nonmedical home care and support services to seniors and the disabled, recently was honored with Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee’s Employer Partner of the Year Award in Nashville.
This is Aid & Assist’s second year in a row winning the award in Nashville, and the organization was recognized for its work with Goodwill and the Goodwill Career Solutions Center. Through this partnership, Aid & Assist hires certified nursing assistants and caregivers from Goodwill’s health care training program.
Aid & Assist At Home is a personal support services agency that provides nonmedical care and support services to seniors and the disabled in the comfort of their own homes.
“We are proud to have been recognized again by Goodwill for providing nonmedical care to senior adults, a population that is growing exponentially and requires strong community partnerships to meet the health care needs of its members,” said Stuart Brunson, the chairman/CEO of Aid & Assist At Home. “We are helping to develop a strong workforce of caregivers in nonmedical home care—one of the fastest-growing sectors of long-term care. Partnerships between agencies such as Aid & Assist and Goodwill are vital to being able to care for older adults, as well as the disabled, in the comfort of their own homes.”
Aid & Assist representatives accepted the award at the annual Goodwill Impact Luncheon at Millennium Maxwell House in Nashville. In addition to being honored in both 2012 and 2013 with the Employer Partner of the Year Award in Nashville, Aid & Assist received the Employer Partner award this year in Jackson.
The agency, which has offices throughout the state, recently moved its corporate headquarters in Nashville to a 6,700-square-foot office at One Grassmere Place.
The company is headquartered in Nashville, with additional offices in Bristol, Columbia, Cookeville, Chattanooga, Jackson, Knoxville and Memphis, Tenn. The company has more than 100 full-time employees and more than 1,200 caregivers on staff.
