Comcast, along with Nashville elected officials and community partners, recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce its new Xfinity Customer Service Center, which is now open for business.

The 4,800-square foot space, located at 2400 Franklin Pike in Nashville, is the first of Comcast’s newly designed centers that have opened in the area.

The storefront is built to provide an interactive way for customers to experience products and services, such as the X1 platform and the Xfinity Home suite of products. It also offers customers a place to pay bills or address equipment needs. To accommodate those long lines, the location features 12 service counters, iPads with interactive product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s advanced suite of products and apps.

Elected officials and community partners got to test out some of the great services including the X1, a new interactive TV experience that combines customized apps, social media features and traditional video services to deliver personalized and dynamic TV entertainment.

“The Xfinity Customer Service Center is a welcome addition to the Nashville area,” said Nashville Councilmember Sandra Moore. “We appreciate Comcast’s commitment to enhance the service experience for Nashville customers.”

“As a major employer in Nashville, we are proud to deliver a state-of-the-art service center that will truly benefit our customers in the future,” said Comcast Regional Senior Vice President Doug Guthrie. “This is the latest step we have taken to enhance the customer experience while continuing to grow our presence in Nashville.”

The store is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 11:30 am to 4 pm.

Comcast has also recently opened an Xfinity Customer Service Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and plans to open an additional location in Brentwood sometime in 2015.
