Free music and fun at the CMA Music Festival

The day before gates open to the 2015 CMA Music Festival, CMA is throwing a FREE kick-off concert to get Nashville and every fan that flocks to Music City for the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience into the spirit of the Festival.

It features performances by SiriusXM Highway Finds artists, including A Thousand Horses, Greg Bates, Annie Bosko, Ruthie Collins, Jessie James Decker, Clare Dunn, Haley Georgia, Haley & Michaels, Sonia Leigh, LoCash, Jackson Michelson, Logan Mize, Jess Moskaluke, Old Dominion, James Otto, Outshyne, Parmalee, Carly Pearce, Adam Sanders, Canaan Smith, Dallas Smith, and Sundy Best (lineup subject to change). Gates open at 9:30 AM/CT for the general public.

“The CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Concert has been extremely popular with our fans and adds another day of free music to the event,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “It is just another way we can thank the local fans for supporting the Festival while also welcoming Country Music fans from around the country and world to Nashville.”

With seven free stages, you’re certain to see a variety of artists from legends to the latest up-and-comers. Vendors line The Buckle on historic Broadway, waiting to hand out product and food samples, play games and give away freebies. Hang out all day, or come and go as you please at The Belk Park Stage; The Bud Light Plaza Stage; the Chevrolet Roadhouse Stage; the Gildan Broadway Stage; and/or The HGTV Lodge.

The Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience™, CMA Music Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday, June 11-14 in Nashville. Carrie Underwood performs Saturday, June 13 at L.P. Field. She joins previously announced performers including Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Randy Houser, Sam Hunt, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Maddie & Tae, Neal McCoy, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, The Band Perry, The Oak Ridge Boys, Keith Urban, Wynonna & The Big Noise, Chris Young, and Zac Brown Band. This year’s National Anthem singers include Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Lee Greenwood, Kellie Pickler, and Restless Heart. Tickets to the Nightly Concerts at LP Field sold out in November. The BMI Tailgate Party is the perfect spot to get amped up for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field. Located outside of Gates 8 and 9 at LP Field, artists begin taking the stage at 4:45PM.
