Behind the brokenness—into His blessed repair

by PRIDE Newsdesk

Behind 1The award winning, blessed musical group ‘Not Easily Broken-NEBS’ has endured a lot of brokenness—but with every encounter, they’ve managed to work through it all and remain standing. The ladies say: “We have learned that our brokenness was meant to be a testimony to others.”

The term ‘brokenness’ may be defined as “being in a state of disarray, incomplete, or even crushed by grief.” Regardless, every human being has faced a time in their life where they have been broken. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:5: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” That scripture proclaims that there is hope for restoration of the heart, mind, and soul.

A collective decision was made to come together with others who have been broken to make a platform that will bring positive awareness to the matter of brokenness. The group wishes to broadcast to the nations that ‘eternal restoration will be fulfilled.’ On August 8, 2015 everyone gathered from near and far to share what God has done in their lives. The room was filled with women, young and old, crying, weeping, and laughing as testimonies were brought forth.

“We are seeking to host and oversee that level of ministry and more,” said Peaches Wiggins. Wherever God leads us, is where we will go to share his spectacular Word and blessings thereof.

‘Spoken word’ and ‘prophetic dancing’ avenues were also used as expressions of healing. Vendors such as the Hope Pregnancy Center supported the event by setting up tables displaying their services offered to the community.

‘Design Original’ was presented again this year at the request of many, incorporating a keynote speaker, psalmist, praise dancers, and various testimonies.

Vendors such as Serenity House Women’s Shelter, Inc. (Dr. Toi Dennis, founder/CEO) will also support this occasion. Various churches are coming together for a day of food, fun, and door prize collections. They include those seeking a place where you they can absorb the presence of God amongst fellow women.

Ever so humbling in their presence and spirits, the ladies of NEB (Not Easily Broken) will never be the first to toot their own proverbial horns and tell the world just how good and soothing their top quality Gospel and Christian music is. But these beautiful women of God have been blessed with some of the most powerful, trained voices on earth.

“Don’t take our word for it,” said Wiggins. “We hope to see you at the ministry event. If you haven’t heard them before, be prepared to ‘save the date,’ clear your schedule and take note. It will be a treat to behold and remembered for some time to come.

The host venue is Tabernacle Church, located at 1020 Garrettsburg Road, Clarksville, Tenn. 37204, held at 11 am on April 23.
