Free Fun during the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville

The NFL Draft will take over downtown Nashville April 25-27.

The 2019 NFL Draft is coming to Music City, Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27. Downtown is going to be busy with fans from all over the country ready to see who their team chooses. There is a whole lot of fun to be had for free! You can participate in interactive exhibits, immersive games, virtual reality experiences, free player autograph sessions, enjoy live music from amazing Nashville bands, and more, all free, even the parking in various lots, including at Nissan Stadium.

Draft picks on the main stage take place the evenings of April 25 (Thursday) and April 26 (Friday) and during the afternoon of April 27. Admission is free. There will be limited seating areas (and some VIP areas), but the idea is most fans can stand, and walk. The NFL and the city are expecting crowds approaching 300,000 for the weekend in the largest festival footprint ever for an NFL Draft.

The designated Viewing Areas, which are free and open to the public, will be from Second to Fifth on Lower Broadway and Music City Walk of Fame Park. Throughout the site, there will be food trucks, beer, soft drinks and water, video screens, and hot dog vendors.

CeCe Winans will sing the National Anthem on Thursday, April 25. More than 20 Nashville-based acts representing diverse genres of music will perform during the three days of activities on the Draft Main Stage and at the NFL Draft Experience presented by Oikos Triple Zero, a free admission football festival held outside Nissan Stadium. NFL Draft Experience hours of operation: April 25 (Thursday): 12PM to 10PM; April 26 (Friday): 12PM to 10PM; and April 27 (Saturday): 9AM to 6PM.

NFL Draft Experience Stage music April 25: New North (Americana); Striking Matches (alternative rock, pop rock and blues rock); and Mikky Ekko (alternative). April 26: Willie Jones (country), Kid Politics (indie pop), Jessy Wilson (neo soul/rock), Charlie Worsham (country singer-songwriter), Jonny P (soul), and Rayland Baxter (alternative). April 27: Katie Schecter (Rock n Roll and soul), Jason Eskridge (soul), Three Star Revival (soul/jam/funk/Americana/rock), Andrew Combs (indie folk), and Charles Esten (country/rock “Nashville” TV show star).

NFL Draft Experience activities include the Autograph Stage (current NFL players and NFL Legends); Interactive games, Play Football clinics, and PLAY 60 Zone; Photo with Vince Lombardi Trophy; NFL Shop with exclusive NFL merchandise; Taste of Tailgate with Nashville restaurants and Bud Light Bars; and Look Like a Pro; PEPSI NFL Helmet Photo Opportunity; Combine Corner, 40-Yard Dash; Vertical Jump.

Schermerhorn Symphony Center will host Selection Square, with the team tables where each club makes their Draft selections, also open to fans.

Bag Information for Draft Experience: All items will be carefully inspected and potentially not permitted. The NFL strongly encourages fans not to bring any type of bag, but, bags that do not exceed 16” x 16” x 6” are permissible, but no backpacks or luggage of any size (except medically necessary items).
