On October 15, 2017, Afropreneurial Community founders gather before their 1st eat and greet at South Street Nashville on Monday, October 30, 2017.
The Afropreneurial Community is a community of entrepreneurs, creatives, and all around go-getters who come together to teach, learn, and inspire one another to create a community that creates empowerment, support, and culture. You are cordially invited to come to their next event and build your community, at Elevate Cafe, 905 Buchanan Street, Nashville on Sunday, January 5th, 2020 from 11am to 3pm.
On October 29, 2017 the group started with 10 people who desired to create a safe space for black people to come together to teach, learn, and inspire, and has grown steadily with every Meet and Greet event they host. Hosted every 5th Monday, the community comes together and educates on how to approach the relationships between not only others but with themselves. They create a theme to help create a mindset on what to think about in regard to what you need to work on from all aspects ranging from creating a healthy lifestyle to finding out how to brand yourself properly.
They are hosting a brunch for new and returning community members to come together to have a positive close to start their 2020 off right with the creation of a positive vision for themselves. It will have panelists that will speak to how they made their vision a reality. They will share their tips and advice to making sure your decisions and actions line up with your vision. Come get the perfect version for yourself in 2020!
To promote your vision in the New Year, they have a theme. The theme this year is RBG (Pan-African Flag) so find your best outfit for those colors as they promote the goals you want in the New Year, as follows:
Red (Passion): You can wear this color if you are looking for your passion in life whether it is a hobby or a career move. You can wear this color to help attract those positive vibes.
Black (Power): You can wear this color if you want to have more power in your life from becoming a leader at your job to taking power over your life and creating a positive one.
Green (Wealth): You can wear this color if you want wealth in your life. This wealth can represent financial, spiritual, emotional, and/or mental wealth. Make yourself as wealthy as you want to be.
The colors are important because they represent our culture and the visions we hope for ourselves on a deeper level. The dress code is dressy casual preferred (button down and clean slacks or jeans for men and dress or blouse and skirt / pants for women).
The special DJ… YOU! through Festify. There will also be a raffle (with the prize to be revealed later).
Come join in on January 5th to celebrate their birthday and create a positive ending and start a new beginning. Appetizers and Drinks will be featured on the menu for the event via email, along with info on Festify, after you register via Eventbrite.
