Clark Memorial unveils historical marker from the Metro Historical Commission on Sunday, February 9th

The pictures below tell the story of Clark Memorial’s Historical Marking being unveiled as a kickoff to their 155 year Anniversary celebration. The event was exciting and well attended by members, family, friends, the United Methodist Bishop William McAlilly, District Superintendent Patricia Freudenthal, members of Brentwood UMC, West End UMC. Also in attendance were civil rights activists and Freedom Riders along with city officials, District Councilman Freddie O’Connell and man others. The support was greatly appreciated by the 155th Anniversary committee. Clark Memorial UMC is located at 1014 14th Ave. N. Rev. Dr. Herbert L. Lester, Jr. is the senior pastor.
