Understanding faith confessions

by PRIDE Newsdesk

Understanding what you are saying and why you are repeating what God says in His word are key elements in receiving from God. Believing what you say is also important. The words you speak in faith will create the image that you desire. Every time you speak, it creates a stronger image inside you. If it is healing you desire, the healing image is created by God’s word. As you continue to agree with the word, eventually the image is perfected and you will see yourself well.

Faith possesses reality. A great example of faith possessing reality is in Mark 5:25-31, the story of the woman with the issue of blood. She said: “If only I may touch his clothes, I shall be made well.” She continued to speak until she saw herself well. The woman hoped to be healed. She kept on saying “If I could only touch his clothes, I shall be made well.”

Her goal was to get well. She began filling hope with words of faith. “I shall be restored to health.”

She set her own point of contact to receive her healing by trying to touch Jesus’ garment. She knew healing anointment was in Jesus’ garment. When she touched his garment, she was made well.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Hope lacks substance until it is filled with faith. Hope can be a goal setter to receive what you are expecting. The woman with the issue of blood hope was to be healed. Hope did not heal her. It was her faith that gave substance to her hope. She saw what was already her healing manifested in her body. Jesus made it very clear that if you do not doubt in your heart but believe what you say, it will happen.

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believe,” Mark 9:23. We know from scripture that healing is available in Jesus. “God sent His word and healed them,” Psalm 107:20. Reach out today to Jesus and receive your healing. Use faith filled words that are recorded in God’s word on healing. Say the word with authority and believe what you say. Keep on saying God’s word until your healing manifests in your body. Speaking God’s word in faith like the woman with the issue of blood can also make you well.
