“Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree; do you believe? You will see greater things than these. I say unto you, for certain you will see heaven open and God’s angels going up and coming down on the Son of Man,” John 1:50-51.
You will see angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. As the born again, it is important that we see and know the nature of true Christianity. In crossing over, we must have faith in Jesus Christ that nothing and no one can move us from following God.
You’re not crossing over just into a new year. Your crossing over into a new you. A new year won’t make you. It takes a new mindset, a greater understanding, a greater knowledge of God and His word.
Have a commitment to living this life in the fullness of God and not turning back no matter what the challenges.
The challenges of loss, include: loss of a job, an opportunity, a relationship, or family. Regardless of how it happens, loss is one of the biggest challenges we face.
This is why you must establish a moral compass in accordance with your values and beliefs.
When you establish a moral compass, then you can master your mind. Your mind is a component on your path to becoming a better person. This is removing all negative commentary as you grow and become a new you.
This is removing small things and small thinking out of your life—making room for the Holy Spirit (the helper) to move you to a perspective of the Glory of God. Before God can do a work in you, you must have a perspective of God’s height, width, and depth.
This is a viewpoint of God’s grace, this is why you must make room and space for the Holy Spirit to move.
“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need,” Hebrews 4:16.
You must let go of stuff that has not and will not advance you or benefit you in this next season of ‘greater.’
No more doubting, no more disbelief, lack of confidence, calling into question, feeling uneasy about or being suspicious of. In this season you will know the move of God this time around, because you have the full confidence in God.
You have moved away from the platform of your finite, limited, restricted mind and to the platform of God’s thinking.
Christ is God’s alter, God’s riser, God’s foot-place of opportunity and choices. We know now who Christ is.
Remember Philip came to Nathanael and said ‘we have found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Nathanael replied, ‘Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Nazareth where the Roman army is located? Nazareth where Jesus was rejected? Nazareth, negative Nazareth? Philip told him to come and see.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, an Israelite indeed in whom was no deceit (an untruthful, double-faced, false-hearted, tricky, fake, made-up person). He was a true descendant of their ancestors.
Nathanael said, ‘How do you know me? Jesus replied, ‘Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree. Nathanael said: “Rabbi (teacher, master, leader), you are the Son of God.”
Jesus in this text is affirming Nathanael’s word that He is the Son of God and the King of Israel. Jesus knew the thoughts of Nathanael, saying, “You are an honest person and one who knows the thoughts of God.” Jesus knew about Nathanael before the two ever met, because a dishonest person would feel uncomfortable in the presence of the Son of God.
God knows the real you and He knows if you really want to follow Him.
You can’t pretend to be something you’re not. He knows you, and this is why your challenges are over and the choices are now. God is releasing complete restoration—restoration in your life, in your home, in your health, in your finances. Receive a supernatural take over from God for you now.
God has put all things under His authority for your life “for I know you.” This is God’s eternal purpose for your life, because you believe.
You can take it, give it, send it, bring it, will it, deliver it, stand on it, and gain it. You have access according to His eternal purposes for your life.
Nathanael was so impressed by Jesus’ knowledge that he proclaimed Him as King of Israel. Jesus tells him that signs were coming soon: “more than anything you have ever seen.”
Jesus’ miracles were signs in the earth that you will know the full proof that Christ was who He claimed to be. Because you believe (have faith), you will see greater things than these.
This is to have an identity with Christ. All you have to do is keep the right perspective of knowing and seeing. You know, so keep knowing; you see, so keep seeing.
Nathanael, Nathanael, Nathanael! You will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. You will see God’s angels going up and coming down on the Son of Man. You will have spiritual insight into Jesus—the true nature, the true purpose of His coming into the world.
You have crossed over into 2021 as a new you. You know who Jesus is, and you have a consciousness of how Jesus is. You are the scented body of Christ.
You are a believer, honest, truthful, trustworthy and genuine. God is going to reveal, open up, make you know, unveil, and release into your life the fullness of Jesus Christ.
So keep the faith and live in the fullness in 2021.
