Sin separates but love restores (part 2)

by PRIDE Newsdesk

God says that the wages of sin are death, but that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). If you have not received Christ Jesus into your life, do so soon so that you can have eternal life. If you have sin in your life get rid of it. Repent and confess that sin today. Make Jesus the Lord and Saviour of your life.

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” Romans 10:9. No one is perfect. We are all sinners (Romans 3:23). God loves you. He does not want anyone to perish. God sent Jesus into the world not to condemn the world but to save it. That is why He sacrificed His Son, Jesus, so that all who believe in Jesus shall have everlasting life. He wants all men to be saved. God says without repentance there can be no forgiveness of sin. Repent and get rid of sin forever. God wants us to confess our sins. Confession of our sins is ongoing for all Christians. All of us sin: knowing, and unknowingly. God said if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Please think about where you want to spend eternity: in Heaven or in hell? The choice is yours. Repeat this and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess to God:

“Lord, I am a sinner. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification [declared not guilty]. I do now receive and confess Him as my personal Saviour. Romans 10:13 says, ‘All who call on the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.’”

Congratulations! You are now saved and a ‘born again believer in Jesus Christ.’ I welcome you into Gods’ family.

As born again believers, God wants us to follow His commands and to walk in love. Jesus says that the most important commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind,” Matthew 22:39. He said that this is the first and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is “to love others as much as you love yourself.” God wants us to love one another, and whatever we do, do it in love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Jesus also instructs us to love our enemies and to be good to them that hate us (Luke 6:27). Above all, be loving. This ties everything together (Colossians 3:14).

Gods’ love is the most powerful healing force in the universe. It heals physically, emotionally and spiritually. Love redeems. It forgives. It rescues, and it restores. It does all of these and more through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Get to know the Author of Love and let Him restore your life and make you whole in your body, in your mind, and in your spirit. Gods’ love never fails, because His love and mercy endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34). There is nothing in all creation that can separate you from God’s love that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37-39). Receive your gift of love God has for you. Receive the free gift of eternal life today. Jesus sacrificed His life. What more can He give us? Receive Him now.
