From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. — matthew 11:12

Having faith in God is the key to having the power of God. In Matthew 10:1 Jesus says to His disciples, “I give you power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease”.

This power is the full power of God, the dunamis power, the dynamo power of God. The power of God that changes hearts, minds, goals and dreams. This power helps us to live a devotional, pure and holy life before God. As believers we work to get to this state of life which is our occupation, calling, and status. It is the power of God that heals, give sight, sets free, cleanses, opens our eyes to hear, gives us life and keeps us grounded in the word.

This is to have an on-going life with no conclusion or end.

The power of God will never stop you, but it will block your accuser. The one that commits an offense against you. When you have faith in God your life is secure, fixed, fastened so as not to give way, become loose, or become lost. The Holy Spirit checks your life each day to ensure that all things are tightly fastened, fixed firmly, and secure.

Before Jesus teaches the multitudes concerning John, He commands His twelve disciples to go and preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. As I go you go. Not into the way of the Gentiles, or into any city of the Samaritans, but you go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. I will go to the Gentiles and the Samaritans.

See John is in prison at this time for preaching and teaching the truth to Herod and rebuked him in public for marrying his sister-in-law. When John heard of the works of Christ, John sent two of his disciples; Andrew the brother of Peter and John the son of Zebedee a Galilean fisherman, a devoted follower of the prophet John. John the Baptist father is Zechariah, the devoted follower (disciple) of John the Baptist, his father is Zebedee and James’s   younger brother. John said unto them go and look for Him (Jesus) and ask Him is He the one or do we look for another?

Go and tell John the Baptist the things you do hear and see. The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, and the dead are raised. The poor have the gospel preached to them. As you go ,blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Jesus now teaches the multitude concerning John. What did you go out to see? My prophet, my messenger I sent before your face, which shall prepare the way of the Lord before thee. What did you come out in to the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind.

A man clothed in soft raiment? I sent you a prophet to prepare you for the coming of the Messiah.

There is non greater that is born of a woman than John the Baptist. You doubted the prophet and he gave you evidence of Christ. You doubted the prophet and he pointed you to the acts of Jesus Christ. His healing, His cleansing, His miracles, signs and wonders. With so much evidence you doubt, and you doubt your salvation, the forgiveness of your sins, and the works of God in your life.

But he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than He (Jesus).

With so much evidence you doubt. Don’t turn away from Christ (Me); turn to me. No man ever fulfills his God-given purpose without me. John is a good example, he is fulfilling his God-given purpose with Christ not without Christ.

When you come into God’s Kingdom it takes courage, unwavering faith, determination, and endurance. For there will be opposition, dislike, hostility, resistances, and criticism.

This is why from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven sufferers violence, and the violent take it by force. The kingdom of God is not a violent movement but a vast movement. A broad, wide, large, huge, extensive movement . This is why you must reclaim your place in God’s Kingdom.

Reclaim – retrieve, recover, claim back, get it back, regain, get it back.

Reclaim your life today!
