I will stand upon the watchtower, to stand watch and to set upon the tower. While standing guard I will wait for the Lord’s answer. I will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved [admonish, pull up]. As the prophet I will show an attitude of expectations.
What position are you in to receive a word from the Lord?
Isaiah showed an attitude of expectation in Isaiah 21:8-11.
Jeremiah showed an attitude of expectation in Jeremiah 6:17.
Ezekiel showed an attitude of expectation in Ezekiel 3:17.
Habakkuk showed an attitude of patients waiting and watching. It was his trust in God. In spite of what he saw and experienced, he trusted God for the answer. “I am going to be in the best position to receive a word from God.”
Right where you are in your life, you are in the right position to receive a word from the Lord. To be in position is to have the right posture and attitude.
God wants you to be true to who you are, trust in Him and stop complaining. Be proactive, rather than being negative in your thinking. I will just wait on it the next time.
Next time it will be better. Next time God will deliver me. Next time things will change. We live every day with a fresh start focusing on ‘what’ vs. ‘how.’ Focus on what you want first before you think about how to do it. Focus on God’s will, not you’re ‘won’t.’ We are to be committed to growth, discovering life’s purpose. Live in alignment in God’s purpose, holding self to the highest conduct and stop putting life on hold. We are to take action in life with goals and dreams that we must fully attain. Whatever you are passionate about will bring about a huge success in your life. So keep developing yourself. Be the absolute best in what you do. The only person you can change is yourself by challenging your fears. Be your best self, maximizing your mind, body, heart and soul.
The Lord says: “I will give you the vision; I will give you my message in the form upon tables—so that he may run who reads it. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance. The vision is yet for an appointed time—at the time I have decided. My words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future.”
At the end it shall speak, and not lie. Though it may tarry, wait for it—because it will surely come to pass. It will not tarry. It will come. Just keep on waiting for it to happen. My word will come and I will work out my plans in my perfect timing for your life.
