Cancer…My journey in time (part 120)

Merry Christmas

by Wanda Clay
Rev. Enoch Fuzz

The end of the year 2022 is very near. But before the coming of the new year, we celebrate and recognize the Christmas season that is upon us. It’s Christmas time and people have been lining the streets with traffic and the stores with shoppers for just the right gifts.

The Rev. Enoch Fuzz is currently having some withdrawals from medications, he said, “I’m gonna be okay,” which continues to be his expectations since the beginning of his journey with stage four lung cancer. And, he will. With each ailment, discomfort, and unforeseen procedure, Pastor Fuzz follows the direction of orders given by his doctors. One of the main orders consistent throughout this journey is always rest. Pastor Fuzz is excited with the love of his family, friends, and congregation and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. As Christmas Day is on Sunday this year, most churches will hold worship services and the churches should be just as crowded as the stores.

When asked how he feels this week, Rev. Fuzz simply says, “Merry Christmas.”

Rev. Fuzz is not, nor has ever been, one to complain about his current circumstance. He continues to pray for the world and asks that we all would do the same.

Pray for the complete healing and restoration of Pastor Fuzz’s health as the new year approaches. I’m sure if Pastor Fuzz could ask for a special gift for Christmas, it would not only include a cancer-free body but also blessings for others less fortunate than himself.

The pastor of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Enoch Fuzz said, “Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas to you all!”

If you haven’t already, take a little time to read over the story of Mary, Joseph, and a baby named “Jesus!”

Please continue to pray, enjoy and share Pastor Fuzz’s Meta postings and weekly journey with cancer.
