NES hosts free energy saving workshops for customers

by PRIDE Newsdesk
NES and TVA are partnering to ‘Offer Home Uplift’ to the community.

Nashville Electric Service (NES) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) are inviting customers to attend free home energy workshops, where they will learn easy, energy-efficiency improvements that anyone can do at home. In addition to those workshops, NES is also offering Home Uplift application assistance events, where representatives will be onsite to answer questions and assist with documents if customers are applying for the Home Uplift program.

In a partnership between NES and TVA, EnergyRight’s Home Uplift provides energy upgrades that reduce energy costs and improve comfort. For eligible homeowners, the retrofits and renovations are completely free and bear no cost to the customer. These sustainable changes are reducing poverty and carbon emissions in the region. For more information on the Home Uplift program, visit <www.energyright.com/residential/home-uplift/>.

Customers attending workshops will receive a free energy-savings toolkit valued at $25 to help them get started. A complete list of upcoming workshops and application assistance events are listed below.
