“I am the One who commands the sea and its streams to run [dry]. I am also the One who says, Cyrus will lead My people and obey My order. Jerusalem will be rebuilt,” Isaiah 44:27-28.
In the day and time in which we live, God is sending us leaders who will obey Him and carry out His word. This is not the time for leaders to pacify [to relax, or soothe] the people. God is raising up leaders that will provoke the presence of God in the lives of His people. This is a time for a real change and movement of God—a chance for His people to become great and provoke the presence of the Holy Spirit.
How do we provoke the presence of God [the Holy Spirit}?
1) Ministry of His word: “We will give our attention to the ministry of the word,” Acts 6:2-4.
2) Ministry of prayer: “Be sure to engage in prayer when ever you are afflicted,” James 5:13.
3) Seed of faith: Wherever there is manifestation, it’s from a seed. Every seed that is planted must be sown by faith. When we sow a seed, we put it in God’s hands and watch Him work a miracle based on our faith. Your seed of faith brings about a new and changing future in the life of the sower. We release a sacrificial seed of faith to receive a harvest. Your seed is waiting for harvest. “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness,” 2 Corinthians 9:10.
This is being in His presence. This is the only reason we are here today—to be in the presence of God. “For I am [God] the one that commands the sea and the streams to run dry when this is disobedience from My people. This is why Cyrus will be your leader, one that I have called and can trust to obey My order. The Lord said to Cyrus, His chosen one: I have taken you by your right hand to help you capture nations and remove kings from power. City gates will open for you; not one will be closed. As I lead you, I will level mountains and break the iron bars on bronze gates of all cities. I will give you treasures hidden in dark and secret places. Then you will know I, the Lord God of Israel, have called you by name,” Isaiah 45: 1-3.
“Cyrus, you don’t even know Me! But I have called you by name and have highly honored you because of Israel, My chosen servant. Only I am Lord! There are no other gods, I have made you strong, though you don’t know Me,” Isaiah 45:4-5.
Cyrus is an anointed man of God, who is called by God. The releasing of God’s power is upon him.
God is All-Powerful and has power over all things. He is omnipotent, He has unlimited power. He is able to do anything. He is supreme, almighty, and all-powerful. With His power and ability, He can choose whom He wants to give His power to for the work of His kingdom.
God is also the Anointed One, and His Spirit is upon His people to fulfill His will in the earth. He can anoint whomever He chooses to do His will. They shall go forth.
