Happy birthday Rev. Enoch Fuzz!

Readers are possibly seeing this article on or around the day that Enoch Fuzz was born 67 years ago, September 30. Rev. Fuzz, pastor of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, shares a birth date with some people like actress Fran Drescher, rapper T-Pain, singer Johnny Mathis, singer Cissy Houston, actress Angie Dickinson, singer Patrice Rushen, musician Buddy Rich, author Truman Capote, tennis pro Martina Hingis, Olympic gymnast Dominique Moceanu—and of course, the list goes on. Some of these people may be familiar to you, while others remain unknown. As we see with this minuscule list, they are from all walks of life with a list of different occupations and careers.

What does this list of names have to do with the Rev. Enoch Fuzz’s birthday? There are so many things we could focus on, such as Rev. Fuzz’s journey with stage four lung cancer—a battle he’s been fighting for approximately three years. But this list is representative of an infinite number of people who share the exact same date of birth with him. Just think about how varied their careers would be. Everyone has a purpose and a position in this life, even when people are born on the same date.

Rev. Fuzz continues to serve as a community leader making a difference in the lives of so many people through his support of many different organizations. Then there’s his life in ministry to the members of his church and his relationship with churches, ministers and other community leaders.

We are excited to say ‘Happy birthday’ to this community leader who continues to lead regardless of his pain and his journey. Rev. Fuzz has noted, “Today is a great day to live.” We follow with, “Today is a great day to celebrate your birth.” Happy birthday Enoch Fuzz!

As a minister of the gospel, Rev. Fuzz is also celebrating 50 years in ministry and 42 years as a pastor. The public is invited to celebrate with Rev.
