Jeffrey Osborne & Peabo Bryson

Two of R&B’s most beloved artists perform a night of silky-smooth soul at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Tuesday, November 21. Jeffrey Osborne performs selections from his sparkling solo career, which includes “On the Wings of Love” and “You Should Be Mine.”

Known for classic Disney tunes including “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World,” Peabo Bryson headlines the evening with favorites like “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” “Can You Stop the Rain” and “Let the Feeling Flow.” The evening is presented, without the Nashville Symphony, beginning at 7:30 PM.

Wednesday, November 29, the soulful and wildly talented Joss Stone makes her Schermerhorn debut with the Nashville Symphony. Known internationally for her debut album “The Soul Sessions,” this British singer’s meg-hits include “Super Duper Love,” “Right to be Wrong,” “Free Me,” “L-O-V-E,” and “Fell in Love with a Boy.” Catch Ms. Stone along with the Nashville Symphony as they deliver a holiday-themed concert filled with Christmas favorites and soulful hits. Nathan Aspinall conducts the Nashville Symphony at 7:30 PM in Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Chapel Hart joins Shenandoah, Phil Vassar, Mikayla Lane, and HunterGirl at the Ryman Auditorium on Monday, November 20 for the annual Christmas 4 Kids Concert. Each year, Christmas 4 Kids provides hundreds of underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee with their very own Christmas shopping spree.

The funds generated by the Ryman concert and Tour Bus Show/Artist Meet and Greet event, are used to give over 400 children from 29 different schools, a day-long shopping excursion. The special day consists of a chauffeured trip from their school aboard an entertainer’s luxury tour bus, dinner, and a party hosted by Santa. To wrap up the day, the tour buses journey to the Hendersonville, Tennessee Walmart where the children receive a brand new winter coat, and $175.00 to spend however they choose.

Due to a medical issue affecting the artist, the Buddy Guy – Damn Right Farewell concert originally scheduled for Monday, November 20 at Schermerhorn Symphony Center is being rescheduled to Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Instead, you can support the Christmas 4 Kids Concert.

Guy’s Damn Right Farewell tour was designed to see The Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award winner performing hits from throughout his career, in addition to his new #1 album. Amid his core classics are new fan favorites from the project, including “Gunsmoke Blues” ft. Jason Isbell, the forever timely and spellbinding “We Go Back” with Mavis Staples, and a harmonious collaboration with James Taylor on “Follow the Money.”

The follow up to his sixth Billboard #1 album “The Blues Is Alive And Well,” the Blues Album chart-topper reunited with his Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter and longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge, who is set to rejoin him on tour, to bring audience members even more emotionally-charged music with even more bone-chilling hard earned lyrics and lessons that continue to garner critical recognition and praise, presented without the Nashville Symphony.
