Louis York and The Shindellas headline Hope For The Holidays: An Evening With Louis York & Friends at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 16 at The Fisher Center at Belmont University. Stories of Music & Hope will be shared by Charles Esten, Kathie Lee Gifford, Scott Hamilton, Jay Allen, Steve Connell, Ari Afsar, and more. The evening is produced by True West Foundation and will be hosted by Kelly Sutton.

Enjoy a night of amazing stories and songs and HOPE for the holidays. Hope For The Holidays is an engaging holiday benefit event where the audience may feel seen, valued, and cared for during a season where so many may be hurting. The realities of life do not cease during the holiday season. From ill family members, lost loved ones, and aging parents to broken relationships and financial stress, all of these heartbreaking experiences can add a layer of burden that may feel insurmountable during this time of year. We believe that with community and connectivity, there is hope.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Scott Hamilton Cares Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association, Nashville Peacemakers, and The Onsite Foundation.

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation is dedicated to changing the future of cancer by that treats the cancer while sparing the patient. Established as a national identity in 2014, CARES stands for Cancer Alliance for Research Education and Survivorship.

The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

The Mission of Nashville Peacemakers is twofold—to give youth in distressed neighborhoods the basic life skills and self-worth to choose peaceful alternatives to violence, and to support the mothers whose child has been victimized.

The Onsite Foundation provides emotional wellness initiatives that elevate the human experience and reconnect the heart of humanity. The Onsite Foundation’s efforts are focused on vulnerable and underserved populations.

The True West Foundation is a new 501c3 founded by Hope for Holidays creator and producer David Fischette. For years, Fischette has been hosting unique charitable events to help raise awareness and raise funds for local and national charities. He created a vehicle to allow others to donate to charities, and possibly even get involved in a personal and meaningful way with the organizations. Hope for the Holidays is their biggest expression of this concept so far. For more information, head to: hope4holidaysnash.com

Louis York and The Shindellas are essential elements of Weirdo Workshop, a platform initiated by Grammy-nominated songwriting and production team Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony. After reaching a point of frustration in the music industry, the two decided to be a part of the solution, and created a business serving as a platform that generates conversation through art. The company’s goal is to create a community of open-minded intellectuals who will advocate and practice self-acceptance. Learn more and order music at: https://weirdoworkshop.com
