The Office of the Nashville Davidson County Register of Deeds will relocate in late May to 650 Deaderick Street from its current location inside the Bridgestone Arena at 501 Broadway, according to County Register Karen Johnson.

The new lease was approved unanimously on final reading at a recent Metro Council meeting.

“Our top priority is to provide quality service to the people of Nashville Davidson County, and we believe this new location will take our customer service to the next level,” stated Johnson. “From parking to better access to the courts, this move is a win for those who rely on our services. We say a special thank you to the Nashville Predators organization, our Bridgestone Arena neighbors since 2003, whose needs are growing along with ours.”

In particular, the new Register of Deeds location has come full circle and is just a few steps from the Historic Metro Courthouse, where the Register’s Office was once located. The new location is convenient for attorneys as well as anyone in need of registering property documents that must go through the court system.

Specific dates and detailed instructions regarding customer parking will be provided to the public as the information becomes available.
