Blue & White Football Game, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12

Come hang out and mingle with friends at one of the few remaining free spring college football games. This annual event, featuring the world-reknowned TSU Aristocrat of Bands, is free, in Hale Stadium. Enjoy the food trucks, tailgating, vendors and more free fun. Get your season tickets for the 2024 fall campaign, with Five Home Games: TSU Tigers vs. MS Valley State Aug. 31, Charleston Southern Sept. 28, Eastern Illinois Oct. 12, UT Martin Nov. 2, and Southeast Missouri Nov. 23.

Salute to Excellence Honoring Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, Saturday, April 13

The Salute to Excellence Celebration Gala in honor or retiring TSU President Dr. Glenda Glover will be held in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 1000 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

VENUE CHANGE: Women of Legend and Merit Awards Dinner, Tuesday, April 16

You have until Wednesday, April 10 to get your ticket to this signature event Tuesday, April 16, as the TSU Women’s Center salutes six dynamic women who exemplify excellence: Dr. Adrienne Battle, Dr. Jacqueline Mitchell, Senator Charlane Oliver, Mrs. Sharon Roberson, Dr. Sondrea Tolbert, and Dr. Carolyn Baldwin Tucker.

The keynote speaker is Sophia A. Nelson, Esq., award-winning author, journalist, and international inspirational speaker. The event begins with a reception at 6 pm, followedby dinner at 7 pm, in the Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom of the Music City Center, 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South in downtown Nashville.

And, don’t sleep on the TSU Football Steaks and Spades Tournament and Dinner, Thursday, April 11, 6:30 -9:30 p.m. in the Health Sciences Building Rooftop on Campus. The event is hosted by Kenny Smoov, with Special Guests Eddie and Taj George, Brad Hopkins, Keith Bullock, Derrick Mason, Al Smith, Joe Bowden, Travis Partridge, Brandon Fisher, and Keith Burns. All proceeds go to the TSU Football Foundation.
