Expressions of faith

I need that anointing

Bishop-Elect Dr. Monterey D. Lee, Sr.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangs on a tree,” Galatians 3:13.

Christ was humble. He humbled himself by being obedient unto death or to the point of death even to death on a cross. Jesus Christ was willing to give up for the sake of all mankind.

“When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are His sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out ‘Abba, Father.’ So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir,” Galatians 4:4-7.

The curse of sin that had us bound and was on our lives is over. It is removed and done away with. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it it written “…cursed is everyone who hung on a tree.”

We are redeemed so that the blessings that were given to Abraham might come to all through Christ Jesus—so with faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. This is the full right and privilege given to the believer in God. This is the joy we have with our redemption. He hears our prayer and will answer. The Redeemer loves us and will help us do the essential things that bring happiness now and forever.

We have a spiritual life that is influenced by the Holy Spirit to be filled with the Holy Spirit and with joy. This is how deliverance and salvation comes to us: through the blood which paid the penalty for our sins. God gave us the riches of His grace through Jesus’ grace that is poured on us. This is why God has highly exalted Jesus, giving him a name which is above or higher than every other name. At the resurrection and before the ascension of Christ, God gave the highest name to Jesus and positioned Him in heaven to be seated at the highest.

“The Lord Jesus after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God,” Mark16:19.

“But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of power of God,” Luke 22:69.

“God exalted Him at His right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sin,” Acts 5:31.

Through Jesus, God is salvation; through Jesus, Yahweh saves.

Jesus is the ‘rescuer’ and the ‘deliverer,’ because He is the Son of God. What is His name? Jesus.

Jesus is my heart fixer, my burden bearer, my soon coming king, and my mind regulator. Jesus is Lord.
