The Office of the Nashville Davidson County Register of Deeds will begin operations at noon on Monday, June 24, in its new location at 300 Deaderick Street. The last day in the current location inside Bridgestone Arena will be Friday, June 21, and they will close at noon that day only.

Services (in person, by phone and email, and online) will remain available and uninterrupted.

As the new space is being finished, customers can temporarily access the new Register of Deeds Office starting next Monday through the entrance to 300 Deaderick Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues North.

Complimentary customer parking for the new location will be along the street on Deaderick Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues North and along Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between 3rd and 4th. Signs designate the Register of Deeds parking.

“It is vitally important to those we serve that we make this exciting transition as seamless as possible,” Register of Deeds Karen Johnson said. “We think the public will appreciate the convenience of the new office on Deaderick Street, especially the proximity to the Courthouse and the enhanced parking.

“As we leave the Bridgestone Arena, we do so with gratitude to the Nashville Predators and excitement about what is ahead for them. Our move will support them as their needs grow.”

The new Register of Deeds location is across the street from the historic Metro Courthouse, where the Register’s Office was previously located. The new location is convenient for attorneys as well as anyone in need of the office’s various services.
